California has established the Forced or Involuntary Sterilization Compensation Program. Survivors of state-sponsored sterilization can apply for compensation through CalVCB in January 2022. Please check back for more details.

COVID-19 Modifications

Pursuant to Executive Order N-29-20, certain provisions of the Bagley Keene Open Meeting Act are suspended due to a State of Emergency in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Consistent with the Executive Order, CalVCB’s meeting will occur remotely, with no physical Board meeting location. CalVCB will be using the video conferencing service, Zoom, to host the meeting and allow for remote public participation.

Members of the public who wish to observe the meeting may do so on our YouTube channel. Members of the public who wish to provide public comment on agenda items presented during the open session of the Board meeting may do so by emailing CalVCB at Board.Meeting@Victims.ca.gov prior to the meeting. Closed sessions are not open to the public and are indicated on the agenda.
