January is Human Trafficking Prevention Month. The National Human Trafficking Hotline estimates that almost 13 percent of human trafficking victims come from California. The California Victim Compensation Board (CalVCB) offers financial support for victims, including compensation for income loss, relocation, medical, dental and mental health treatment, residential security and more.
You can help us to raise awareness about human trafficking and the compensation available to victims.

If you or a loved one is a victim of human trafficking, agencies from the California Victim Services Coordination Council can help. These state agencies can aid survivors with housing and relocation, finding counseling, restraining orders, and more.
