Victims of crime are not alone. Each year, California joins states across the country to observe National Crime Victims’ Rights Week and show our support for crime victims and survivors recovering from the physical, emotional, and financial trauma of violent crime. CalVCB offers financial support to crime victims to help them rebuild their lives.

Since 1981, participants of NCVRW have committed themselves to honoring survivors, celebrating the accomplishments of the victims’ rights movement, and promoting further justice through advocacy and reform.

Victims of crime are not alone. The California Victim Services Coordination Council consists of ten state departments and agencies that can help. These state agencies can aid survivors with housing and relocation, finding counseling, restraining orders, and more. Learn more about the Coordination Council here.
